This former JAL bird (JA8558) had been converted at the Elbeflugzeugwerke EFW in Dresden in March and only got it new colours in Manchester in May this year.

The A300 is a twin engined short/medium range wide-body airliner.It was the first airliner designed and built by Airbus,developed through a range of improved versions, Many have been converted to freighters. Production ceased in 2007.

The A300-B4 was the major early production version, with increased range compared to the B2, the B4 had its own developments - the -200 with further increased range and the -200FF, the first 2 crew edition of the A300.
