Boeing is replacing a section of fuselage with a giant composite plastic skin patch on the Ethiopian Airlines 787 Dreamliner that was damaged by fire at London Heathrow in July.

Airbus has celebrated the delivery of its 8000th aircraft an A320 to the Indonesian wing of AirAsia. A total of 141 Airbus aircraft are now flying for AirAsia.
