Air India's association with Birmingham dates back to the 1980s when they operated Boeing 707s via Moscow. Their Boeing 777s were utilised for the service from 2005-2008 and they will start using their Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft to Birmingham on 1st August 2013.
