The B737 is a twin engined short to medium range narrow body airliner. It is the most successful airliner in its class, first delivered in 1967, it has been developed continuously into a family of increasingly capable versions.

The -300 was the first of the New Generation 737 family, it had various detail improvements, a slight stretch over the -200 and most important the CFM56-3 engine was fitted in large nacelles under the wing.The cabin was improved and lightened.
