The A300 is a twin engined short/medium range wide-body airliner.It was the first airliner designed and built by Airbus,developed through a range of improved versions, Many have been converted to freighters. Production ceased in 2007.

The B1 was the prototype version of the A300, only 2 were built, the later production A300s had an 8 foot 8 inch extension to the fuselage. The B1 was a short range airliner only.
