Image Description:
On 15 January 2009 this US Airways Airbus A320 N106US suffered a bird strike on take off from New York La Guardia. The pilot, Capt Sullenberger decided to make an emergency landing in the River Hudson and all occupants were safely evacuated. The aircraft is now preserved at the Carolinas Aviation Museum, Charlotte.
