Image Description:
With only a few months service left before retirement and being broken up an Alaskan Airlines combi 737 departs for Deadhorse in Northern Alaska before continuing on to Barrow. The aircraft will be broken up to avoid competition airlines having access to the airframes and being used against there old owner. Sad end to great careers.
