- Boeing flew the biofuel-powered Boeing 747-8 Freighter direct from Seattle to Paris Le Bourget for the 2011 Paris Air Show with all four General Electric GEnx-2B engines powered by a blend of 15% camelina-based biofuel and 85% kerosene. The aircraft consumed the same amount of fuel as it would have done on the same flight using 100% kerosene.
