The Challenger 600 series are medium to long range wide-body corporate jets. The original design was by Bill Lear and produced first by Canadair until that company was bought by Bombardier Aerospace in 1986.
Definitive version of the early Challenger, it had a far more useful performance than the earlier 600 thanks to uprated and improved engines.
