Aircraft Data

The twin-engined short to medium range Regional Jet family pioneered the 50 seater regional jet market. The prototype was based on the CL-601 business jet, but with stretched fuselage and new wings and undercarriage. An EFIS cockpit was also fitted.

The CRJ-200 became the main production version of the short fuselage family. It had more efficient engines, with improved hot and high performance. Also available as the 200LR, extended range edition.
