The Learjet is a light business jet developed from the designs of Bill Lear, it entered production in 1963 and has become the worlds best selling range of corporate aircraft.The Learjet 40 is a light short/medium range business jet derived from the Learjet 45. The 40 has a fuselage shortened by 2 feet, and had improved engines. The basic 40 has already been upgraded to the 40XR standard, with better all-round performance.
