The Bae ATP was an airliner developed from the earlier Hawker Siddeley HS 748. The ATP had a lengthened body and wingspan, new fuel efficient engines and custom designed, slow-turning, six-blade propellers.

Many of the original passenger ATP aircraft have now been converted in to cargo aircraft the first ATP freighter conversion was for West Air Sweden during 2002
