- On Saturday the 4th of December 2010, this DC-6 was flown from Swartkop Air Force base to the North of Pretoria on an existing 500m dirt strip which was widened and lengthened by about another 800 meters. The aircraft landed north to south and at the end of the strip and turned left into Drakensberg Truck Manufacturers premises.
