Event running from March 17th to March 21st, 2015
The biennial Langkawi International Maritime and Aerospace Exhibition (LIMA). The 2015 five-day event achieved over 175,000 visitors. More than 510 aerospace and maritime companies from 36 countries took part, including major players in the defence industry such as Boeing, Airbus, Safran and Lockheed Martin. With 110 aircraft and five aerobatic teams from the United Arab Emirates, Malaysia, China, Indonesia, and Singapore taking part. Highlight of the show was the Royal Malaysian Air Force’s newest acquisition, the Airbus A400M transport aircraft.
