- F-4E 69-0285/BT (blue) was operated by the 525th TFS 'Bulldogs'/36th TFW at Bitburg in the 1970s. The unit transitioned from the F-105D to the F-4D on 1st October 1969 and then later to the F-4E, before becoming the first USAFE unit to become fully operational on the F-15A at Bitburg in April 1977.
