Repainted into her original NVA markings and is waiting to be returned into the display line at the Museo del Aire. Upon German reunification the frame was assigned the serial 22+26.

The Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-21 is a Soviet Union built supersonic jet fighter aircraft. Some 50 countries have operated the MiG-21 and even today it is still in service with many of the worlds air forces

Most aircraft carried a single 450 Litre fuel tank on the centerline pylon. Some MiG-21 aircraft have been brought and are now owned and flown by private collectors as warbirds.
