The last in a series of films to mark the retirement of the Airbus A300 from commercial passenger service. In part three we look at the new Monarch Aircraft Engineering Limited (MAEL) maintenance hangar at Birmingham Airport and the work involved at the end of lease as the last Airbus A300 is made ready to leave the fleet. We interview Mark Harris Monarch Aircraft Engineering Operations Manager at Birmingham about the first 6 month's of the new Birmingham facility and Monarch Aircraft Engineering Check Manager Adrian Selden as he peformes a high powered engine test on the Airbus A300.
