The Classic Aircraft Trust was established in 2012 by Mike Collett to form the basis of a lasting and sustainable organisation, with the aim of preserving a unique collection of airworthy aircraft of the UK’s post-war era. These aircraft were previously owned by Air Atlantique and are now operating as Classic Air Force. The aim of the Trust is to preserve this unique part of British industrial and aviation heritage and to keep these aircraft in working condition. All money raised by the Trust is dedicated to operating, maintaining and restoring our fleet of vintage aircraft and create a world class heritage centre in it's aircraft museum at Newquay Aerohub, in Cornwall.
Now that it's Newquay Aviation Museum is in full swing they have found time to turn attention back to it's long-standing base of operations at Airbase at Coventry.
